The Role
Stressful at times but learnt so much!
A majority of the people always try and make time for you.
Sometimes chucked way in the deep end, but best best way to learn I suppose.
Really busy most of times due to so many meetings but gave me an experience of what the real working world is like.
I was given a brief and allowed to run my own projects along with shadowing others.
Even if I don't go into Marketing in the future, I've leant so many life skills that I wouldn't have learnt otherwise.
The Company
Lots of events running, office was hardly ever empty (except from Friday's which was work from home day)
Beginning was all over the place with the systems however it seemed to get better gradually.
My line manager allowed me to explore and develop any aspect of my personal development that I wished to.
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Working from home
If I wanted to go into Telecommunications in the future then I would definitely apply for the organisation again but not the same division.
The Culture
Many of the placement students when out every weekend, if that's not your scene you end up feeling a bit left out. If it is, then you're in for a treat!
With rent and commuting costs deducted from the months salary - not much was left. Be prepared to budget!
Always something going on!
It depends whether you go looking for them or not.
