  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • Really enjoyed working on HVACs of buildings.

    • Didn't feel that valued by colleagues as they seem to be too busy with work .

    • Supervisors gave great guidance on my tasks and Arup in general.

    • Not very, sometime I'm left with nothing to do for the whole afternoon.

    • Don't feel like I was given too much responsibility as I was not qualified to do many tasks.

    • I have improved my interpersonal skills.

    • Great atmosphere, very modern and comfortable.

    • Work station was already set up when I arrived.

    • Not really sure as I don't think they offer you a job based on your internship, but I would assume it would help when you apply for a job next year.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?

    • Not very good, I wasn't invited to any social events.

    • Lived in Canary Wharf.
