The Role
This is a great company to base your placement year. in my role I have been given a lot of responsibility in my role and there are some really great people within the company.
I could not have been made to feel more welcome when I first started and I have been treated as if I were a full time member of staff
My manager was always there when I need help and the whole team were approachable when I needed guidance
There was always something to do in my role was so diverse. Weekly schedules helped me monitor my workflow and make sure I had enough work/wasn't given too much.
I was given a lot of responsibility during my placement and thsi is one of my main highlights from my placement. It was nice to know that my colleagues depended on me and gave me a great opportunity to prove myself.
I have picked up a fantastic range of skills, from people skills and communication to practical skills and organisation.
The Company
It is a young and lively atmosphere in an open plan office.
All the placement students who started together had training together for the first week (as per schedules) Everyone knew what they were doing and where to go.
My manager was keen for me to get the most out of my placement as possible and therefore often asked me the areas that I would like to learn more about/work on.

The Culture
There was not only a good social scene amongst the placement students (as there were so many of us) but amongst the company as a whole...
It is cheaper to live slightly further out of Windsor and is often quite expensive to go out e.g. club entry.
it is a nice place to go out in but can be a little limited once you have been out a few times. Some nice bars though!
