The Role
An amazing year, so much fun and a lot of expereince gained.
Everyone knows everyone. As you say its like a family. The directors love coming out for a drink, call them by nicknames.
Any problems I had with my work or personal life, I knew my manager was more than happy to help me. Also she was great at pushing me to do better and get more out of my job.
As the industry we are in is seasonal, there were some points which were slightly quiet and times we were just too busy and couldn't get everything done. But overall it was a good balance.
I felt as the year went on, I was given more responsability as I grew into the job which was good.
nothing I learned is very applicable to by degree, accept knowledge in the tourism industry. But some skills like organisation and communication, which i have improved on over the year will help me a lot in life.
The Company
a great atmosphere, an open plan office meant we could talk to people easily around the office.
great training at the start to prepare us for the year ahead
