The Role
The year has passed very quickly. The job has been enjoyable and great perks meant that we where given the chance to visit some of our venues! Very lucky to have such a good year!
Very young company which sometimes felt like being at uni! By working in a team I have made friends who I will no doubt stay in touch with once I leave Golfbreaks
Good support from managers who helped with any uni commitments and any problems encountered within the job.
Although the amount of work changed dependant on the travel season there was always something to do.
Every student was given the same responsibility as the full timers. I felt very valued working at this company.
Although the job was not really linked to my degree I have improved many core skills such as communication , time management and organisation.
The Company
Very young company. We worked hard and played hard! Not a bad person in the company so everyone got on great and there was always a great atmosphere
We where offered a good induction which helped us throughout the year. Golfbreaks.com take placements students every year so the organisation was spot on.
We had quite a few training oportunities. In one case we had an external contractor who gave us an afternoon of time management which will prove useful
Sports and Social Club
International Travel
Company Parties/Events
A large amount of students go back to golfbreaks.com
The Culture
Very good. Work nights out where frequently organised. We also had the opportunity to visit the venues and a company trip! Like being at uni!
Windsor was expensive but if you budget sensibly you can easily get by!
Windsor is a good night out and not too far at all from London.
A key part of golfbreaks is making the most of seeing our venues. Have been able to visit venues in France and Spain. There is the opportunity to go on a few trips!
