The Role
The Scheme was well run and the people were very welcoming throughout the firm.
The department in which I worked valued the effort that I put in from day one.
There is a great support structure at Nabarro. The people who work in every element of the firm whether it is the lawyers or the support staff always look out for you.
The amount of work I was given was very flexible and worked around my ability and my work pattern. There was always never without work but was never snowed under.
I was given a lot of responsibility in the work that I was given. From day one you are feel like part of the firm, helping to represent the clients.
It is incredible how much I learnt in the three weeks alone. My legal and non-legal skills have greatly improved during my time with Nabarro.
The Company
There is a great atmosphere at Nabarro. The firm is very professional but the office is never to stuffy. There are lots of social and sporting events going on so people at Nabarro definitely know when to let their hair down.
The Scheme was excellently set up with a whole host of projects, skills sessions, and social events which ran alongside the main work within the departments.
The firm invested a lot of time in our personal training and development. On the first couple of days we were given a crash course on the different computer systems and legal research. On top of this the work that I was given in my department was specifically chosen to challenge me and to help me improve vital legal skills for a future career in the law.
