The Role
Extremely impressive placement. Interesting, rewarding and above all enjoyable.
Everyone was extremely friendly at all times. Really felt like part of the team.
Supervisor very good. Everyone in department approachable and happy to help r answer any questions.
Very good balance. Busy but not overwhelmed.
Considering the short period of time and position, I feel I was given responsibilitiy over some difficult tasks.
I think 'Skills For Life' accureately sums up this answer. Have acquired skills and techniques which will be invaluable in my career.
The Company

Everyone worked incredibly well. Never any issues or problems. Exceptionally well organised.

Extremely high retention rate of summer students. One of the highest in the city. This filters through to the work you are given and how you are treated.
The Culture
Met more or less every day with the other students for lunch and would often go for drinks or coffee after work. Often socialised ooutside of hours with colleagues as well either with current trainees or within the department.
I commuted in every day. General costs were pretty good for London.
Really good ! Headed over to Covent Garden one day after work and had some drinks whilst watching the street performers...awesome !
I had lots of opportunities. Notably, playing football with the current trainees. I also attended a Pro Bono LawWorks session at a local community centre and gave some free legal advice.
