The Role
Long days but very rewarding with lots of variety
Colleagues understand the difficulty of the job and are helpful if any problems surface
The way the management was set up meant I was left on my own, receiving work directly from my colleagues. This meant my manager didn't have much of a view of what work I was undertaking
Very busy at times, the some need to stay beyond normal hours. However there were some times where there was no work to do at all
There was lots of real work from the outset, with changes to grow how much I could contribute as the year went on. I was involved in client meeting and allowed to write some final report material
The placement taught me a lot of very useful skills, both tangible and nom-tangible
The Company
Very quiet office, some social outings (pub, very good Christmas party etc)
Little initial training. Main training given in a different office which focuses on a different aspect of the company so was a bit mixed in how useful it was.
Training was as hock but very well done
Financial Bonus
Company Parties/Events
The company mainly employs Masters upwards
The Culture
Not very intense but normally some people going for a drink once a week
Central London, very expensive!
As it's a work area most pubs shut at 11.
Not much offered
