The Role
Best job I've ever had - a challenging and interesting task, great atmosphere at work.
Great atmosphere, lots of skilled, helpful, and fun people.
The tasks and orders were clear at all times. My supervisor was very skilled and almost always able to find time to help me with issues, even on very short notice.
There was always lots of stuff to do, but it rarely got really busy.
Interns are given their own projects in the team. We were working on our own and coordinated our steps with our supervisors. There was lots of room for bringing in own ideas.
The placement allowed me to gather a whole year of work experience in an international team working on a state-of-the-art product for the market leader.
The Company
Though there was lots of work, people mostly managed to stay relaxed.
Overall a well organized internship. Some things went wrong or had not been done in time, but they did their best to solve problems quickly.
Interns are able to take part in regular training like presentation skills.
Flexi Time
Financial Bonus
Company Parties/Events
Healthcare from home
Can't tell if the internship helps to get a future job with them as I didn't apply for one, but I think it might be helpful.
The Culture
There's the traditional Friday afternoon pub, also many people meet outside work in their free time.
Oxford is not necessarily the cheapest place you can live and go out.
There should be something for everybody here.
It's pretty much impossible to stay at home and do nothing here.
