The Role
The overall internship was hard work but great fun, there was a strong emphasis on working efficiently whilst continuosly learning.
The team were highly supportive and actively helped to ensure I felt part of the team.
Had regular meetings clearly stating what was expected of me and how i could excel throughout the internship
I was kept sufficiently busy throughout, however at times had to meet strict deadlines with limited time capacity
Understandably the level of responsibility which could be handed to me was limited (due to regulation) however I was responsible directly for the work i was set.
The analytical skills will help throughout my last year of my degree and the general time managment skills will be ones I take through life.
The Company
The team were very friendly and interconnected so always felt lively.
There were a range of networking and extra-curricular event which had been organised for the interns
Highly invested in the interns, both through the exposure to the industry gained and the different things learned
Very appealing and a great company to work for
The Culture
Went out with the other interns on most weekends so good social side
Good place to socialise however expensive
There is a good range of bars to socialise after work
Work was the main priority however there are opporutinities to get involved in other things
