The Role
I liked the people I met and worked with during my Internship, the only problems I had were mostly technical and took a lot to resolve.
I was actually part of a small team (me and 2 other team members) which helped me feel valued and also received a lot of support from them.
My manager was really helpful most of the times, but I was required to work on a project that went over his knowledge so I had to learn on my own and finally teach him.
I worked from 8 to 4 daily, I had some duties I was required to take care each morning and then the rest of the time I was mostly working on my project.
I felt that I was given a fair amount of responsibilities considering my time there.
We had a training at the beginning of the internship. However I was required to use a lot a VBA, for which I did receive support.
The Company
It was nice, with friendly people, had dress-down Fridays, pizza days.
I found it to be quite well organized in terms of the campus recruitment team. However, due to the constant problems I had with my computer I felt as if the team I joined was not fully prepared to have another member.
We had a 3- day training at the beginning of the internship and mandatory online training before the start of it.
Subsidised Canteen
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
I will most probably take on the offer for a graduate position with the company
The Culture
Yes, we used to meet up quite often and we got along quite well.
Considering the area is Canary Wharf, the pubs are sometimes quite expensive.
Canary Wharf is not in my opinion the best place for a night out.
We had plenty of socializing event during the internship, also we had a day when we went volunteering.
