  • I loved it!

  • Very - Interns were treated with a lot of respect, and people were always willing to help/answer questions/offer their time

  • Constantly - I had a great relationship with my manager and he always supported and mentored me throughout my placement

  • I was kept pretty busy but I enjoyed it as I was able to get involved in multiple projects and make the most of my year there

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • A lot of responsibility - if I didn't do my job someone would have been paid to do it. I really felt valued and appreciated

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • My business placement hasn't lent itself directly to my politics degree however my maturity, time management, productivity and organisation skills have helped me on my return to university.

  • Really fun and friendly atmosphere. Everyone was very appreciative of interns and happy to help!

  • Fantastically well organised and always on hand if any queries

  • A lot of time was invested in intern development. i was particularly lucky that my manager was supportive.

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • The interns based in the reading office socialised a lot, but not as much with the london interns.

  • Pretty cheap

  • Not the best but close to London

  • Work kept me pretty busy but I still socialised most evenings!
