The Role
Fantastic year.
The full time guys really made an effort to make all the interns feel like part of the team.
We had weekly 1 to 1s (when necessary), and my supervisor made himself completely approachable if I had any issues.
Almost a perfect amount of work. Could occasionally get slightly too busy with intern stuff alongside the full time job.
Treated pretty much the same as any of the full time employees in terms of the responsibility and tasks given.
I've really found that having a placement has benefitted me both at university and in getting a grad job.
The Company
My team had a fantastic, friendly atmosphere.
The staffing team worked really hard to make sure everything was organised well.
Really good library, went to conferences and received online training. Almost everything that I needed was there.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
Financial Bonus
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Working from home
I've got a grad job!
The Culture
I lived with a bunch of other interns, and still keep in touch with quite a few now.
Reading is fairly expensive, as its close to London.
Meh.
There were quite a few socials organised by my team.
