The Role
The role was matched to my skill set and was part of an enjoyable team.
My immediate team were supportive and conscientious, whilst I was able to interact with a variety of colleagues in a number of different roles.
Ongoing assessment and Line Manager support helped me get the best from my internship in terms of personal development.
I had a balance of very busy days, contrasting with days containing a lighter workload.
I was able to both shadow in high profile meetings, as well as being given the opportunity to take the lead in co-ordinating other team meetings.
I was able to develop my personal skill set, and have also gained new skills that I am able to take forward.
The Company
Colleagues were engaging but often had high work volumes, however a good social aspect still remained.
The programme of events was very comprehensive and providing an enriching experience both in and out of the office.
Initial training took the form of offsite learning, as well as the access to online learning aids and learning sessions as scheduled.
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
The internship was a great chance to try the company, and gave a good impression of a longer term employment.
The Culture
Many interns would meet up outside of work, and this combined well with the planned social events.
London is expensive!
There is a wide variety of pubs, clubs, bars and social attractions to cater for all tastes!
I was lucky enough to join a sports team after work, and the opportunity to get involved in volunteering was very rewarding.
