The Role
I was given loads of responsibility and was pitching to clients after 6 months
Was given constant feedback and felt valued the entire time
My manager (who became a director while I was there) became increasingly busy, so I had a lot of support and guidance by my other colleagues
Working in the advertising industry, there are busy and quiet periods depending on the time of year. Some days had no work, others I had to stay late
I was given responsibility but never felt like tasks I couldn't handle because I could always ask someone for support/guidance.
If I had been a little bit more proactive, I could have developed many more skills. Microsoft gave me plenty of opportunities to develop my skills and take exams but I didn't prioritize my time correctly. Nevertheless, I did improve my presentation skills enormously!
The Company
Great vibe- especially on Fridays!
Regular workshops- didn't find them particularly valuable but they were well organised
There were many opportunities available- courses to sign on to, which I wish I had taken advantage of a little bit more

Working from home
Won an intern award at the end of the year so fingers crossed !
The Culture
I had a better relationship with my colleagues... I didn't want to associate myself with the interns too much.. wanted to be part of my time so I went to lunch and to the pub with them more than with the interns... but I know they did do quite a few social events
Unless it was a work do, where it was paid for... living in London on £16.000 wasn't great for socialising
Some nice pubs :)
Loads, charity, sports...
