  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • The people, the activities and the work made the whole experience thoroughly enjoyable.

    • Everyone from Partners to support staff made me feel very welcome and able to ask any questions, no matter how silly!

    • Support and guidance every step of the way!

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?

    • I carried out tasks that the fee earners would have had to do, had I not done them, but I had plenty of support and guidance therefore I feel like I was given the perfect amount of responsibility.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?

    • The training in legal research, Westlaw and PLC will definitely help me on the LPC.

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?

    • The atmosphere was work hard, play hard. I knew when people needed to get work done so would not interupt them but if they seemed more relaxed they were happy to chat.

    • Fantatsic social scene among fellow summer scheme students and current trainees and staff.

    • Expensive but that's London!

    • Sfizios across the road, Covent Garden 10 minutes away!

    • There was the chance to get involved in organised activities for summer students, as well as department drinks.
