The Role
A really good internship where you can learn a lot
Really well integrated into the team from the beginning - invited on all nights out with team members and social events
Weekly meetings with line manager to discuss progress but other members of team were equally as willing to meet to offer advice whenever
You chose your own workload as you worked on a 10 week project and had to make recommendations by the end - this gave the chance to be independent
There was the chance to gain project management experience though the projects were all completely different and some were more 'live' than others. Mine had been done several times previously.
Training and skills absolutely first class, especially presentation skills and sales skills.
The Company
Really good atmosphere
Very well organised, dates of important events made clear from the start. You knew who to go to to discuss each aspect.
The company invested a lot - could not ask for more training
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
National Travel
Company Parties/Events
Offered a place on the Sales graduate scheme
The Culture
Interns lived together and went on regular nights out
York is not a cheap city but not extortionate either
Fantastic nightlife in York
Not so many opportunities but none that I would have liked to have seen
