The Role
The team i was in meant that I was always interacting with new people and that I was challenged by the work I did which I enjoyed from day one.
The team I was in was small so you got to know everyone really well and when working with different teams they all seemed to appriciate you being there.
I have been given good guidance and direction whenever needed and all members of my team was always more than happy to help me if I had any difficulty doing anything.
I was working in a small team in the company that is relatively new and always growing so you were never left light on your feet.
From the very begining I was given the opportunity to own my own projects and my level of responsibility grew as my placement went on. Also the projects I was given ownership of were not at all menial task you could see the contribution that they made to the business and how members of the team appriciated it.
EDFE have a reputation of treating there employees well and that is more than justified with them always offering different training and help to help me build my skills sets that will directly benefit me in my studies.
The Company
Everyone was always very positve and there seems to be a constant flow of goodies in the office which is always appreciated
They integrated me into the company/team very quickly and set out what i was expected to do and achieve during my time at the company. Only downside was limited interation with other placement students was done off our own back and not organised by them.
Lots of training offered and they were always willing to hear any ideas of what you wanted to learn also whether it be through internal or external training

The Culture
The team have some social events but the team were much older, this did mean I got away with paying for almost no drinks. I was the only placemnt student in the entire office but managed to meet some graduates which was nice although non worked in my area.
Very expensive in London and very difficult to get by considering they pay you BELOW THE LIVING WAGE. All office events casual or organised i rarely paid for drinks swhich did help save a bit of money
It's London
They have got charity opportunities but no real sport scene or organised events outside this. The graduates seem to have been offered opportunities that were not communicated to me.
