    • My team made me feel welcome from day one and always made sure that I knew the value in my work across the department.

    • My manager and I set up weekly meetings to discuss my progress. My manager encouraged me to express any desires to get involved in other projects or to meet various other people/teams around the organisation.

    • The great thing about being an FCA intern is that you're given a lot of responsibility. For example, I presented at a meeting with about 20 Managers and Head of Departments from across the division.

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?

    • Everyone is friendly and approachable. Especially as an intern, everybody is very willing to talk whether it is to help on a project or just to get to know their work.

    • There is a two-day training programme at the beginning. 'Learning Lunches' held every two weeks to learn about various areas of the organisation from current graduates.
