The Role
My team made me feel welcome from day one and always made sure that I knew the value in my work across the department.
My manager and I set up weekly meetings to discuss my progress. My manager encouraged me to express any desires to get involved in other projects or to meet various other people/teams around the organisation.
The great thing about being an FCA intern is that you're given a lot of responsibility. For example, I presented at a meeting with about 20 Managers and Head of Departments from across the division.
The Company
Everyone is friendly and approachable. Especially as an intern, everybody is very willing to talk whether it is to help on a project or just to get to know their work.
There is a two-day training programme at the beginning. 'Learning Lunches' held every two weeks to learn about various areas of the organisation from current graduates.
