The Role
The people were friendly and always willing to help if I got stuck with something; work was slow sometimes but
Everyone was really helpful and I was kinda sad to go
I was left to do some things on my own but otherwise was helped out whenever I asked.
There were slow days but I wasn't the only one with little to do when that happened. It seemed like waiting on outsource companies.
At the end of my placement I was pretty much allowed to run the EMC lab by myself.
I'm taking a module in EMC so the work I did has been invaluable in my studies.
The Company
Moving around to get to different training sites could have been done better (a map would have been nice) but the actual working onsite went very well.
Company Parties/Events
Depends on whether or not that's where I want to go. It seems I have a pretty good chance though.
The Culture
Not really; then again I don't like going out to nightclubs and I lived away from the other interns because I couldn't drive so I didn't see them often.
I was lucky and found a place near where I worked otherwise it would have been expensive travel. As for socialising; it was kinda the middle of nowhere for someone who can't drive.
There was a pub...that is all.
