The Role
Was placed with some great people Wasn't too keen on the area, a long distance away from home
There are some unchallenging tasks that need to be done by someone and that someone is you. When working on the more challenging tasks you are a key part of the team, I sometimes worried how smoothly things would go when I went on holiday.
Management always had time to explain things to me and give me opportunities to expand my knowledge
Sometimes found the amount of work overwhelming and hard to achieve without putting in extra hours
I had responsibility of a project with a 6 figure budget.
Invaluable skills and experience that would be hard to find in other placements
The Company
Been hearing from other placements about silent offices, we never had that once. I certainly had a fun and interesting team But don't expect a 'google office' with table tennis and foosball
Started and finished strongly
Varied and interesting training programs to give you insight into part of the business you aren't involved in
Company Car
Look forward to returning on to the Eaton graduate scheme. A 2 year scheme
The Culture
We all wished there were more opportunities to meet. Sites were very distant from each other.
Doncaster: 1 pint = £1.79 Haircut = £5 1 months rent (with 4 people) = £167.50
Doncaster has a strip that feels like Zante with loads of pop music and cheap drinks
There were small football tournaments amongst the factory.
