The Role
The internship was an amazing opportunity to implement skills I have learnt from university and past experiences in a real life situation.
From the onset everyone was extremely friendly and welcoming to help me in my learning.
My manager and I were frequently in contact for reviews despite working with a lot of different team members frequently.
Admittedly there were days in which I would seek others for work or perform some online training.
The responsibility was great, we were given real value adding work a like to graduates.
The skills learnt were really great for enhancing skills which you can't learnt from just a textbook.
The Company
It was a dynamic atmosphere as the role was very team based even at the different client sites.
It was very organised HR planned various events and we were provided a schedule at the beginning of the internship.
There was lots of training material in addition to the personal training from senior management.
I was able to secure a graduate position from my performance on the internship.
The Culture
As it was based in Manchester it was great to mix with students on nights out and dinners.
As it was the city centre it was quite expensive but we were compensated so it was okay.
Lots of different events always going on, so many opportunities.
Yes, there was all different work sports teams we could take advantage of and also volunteer work.
