The Role
The placement was very enjoyable, the culture was good and the work was interesting.
The colleagues were very nice and also sociable, drinks on Friday's were common.
My manager was very approachable.
Really depended, some days I was busy all day including over lunch, other days I had enough time to browse news websites etc.
A reasonable amount.
Learnt in depth financial analysis skills, which have been useful in other work placements and in my relevant accountancy modules at university.
The Company
Good atmosphere, people were generally very helpful and approachable, including partners when they were not too busy!
Many of the tasks were ad hoc, so lacked structure but this is just part of the role.
Most of the training was on the job.
Company Parties/Events
Healthcare/Dental
Pretty good, there is scope to join the organisation after your placement or internship if you impress.
The Culture
Regular drinks and lunches: a very sociable atmosphere
It was in the City of London, so not that cheap, but nevertheless a few well priced pubs as well as fancy bars!
Lots of bars, mostly busy during the week, particularly on Thursday's and Friday's.
Not really.
