The Role
The placement allowed me to understand the intricacies of the audit process in PwC . It helped me to learn about the nature of business that my clients were involved in and also understand more about PwC as a whole. It was very enjoyable with a wide range of tasks to get involved with and lots of interesting people to meet!
They tried to support me all throughout and were ready to help me whenever needed.
My manager patiently answered all my queries and routinely sat down with me to keep track of my progress.
After the initial few months, it turned out to be very busy indeed.
Once I was able to prove my abiliy, I was entrusted with quality work.
I got to learn some valuable skills that would not have been possible within the realms of my degree course. The lessons learnt in communication, leadership and management will help me a long way in my career.
The Company
It was generally very active and busy.
Nicely pre planned and structured.
They arranged for a number of self help and training sessions
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Definitely very appealing since PwC offer graduate jobs to around 90% of their summer Interns
The Culture
We bonded well together.
A bit costly for sure.
Quite good.
Quite a lot of different opportunities.
