The Role
It was challenging at times but that's what it's all about. I learned a lot over the year and have gained a lot of experience from it.
I felt like a respected employee in my team and was given a lot of responsibility.
Left to my own devices a fair amount but I think this is the best way to learn and grow as a person.
Always very busy!
Given a lot of responsibility in my team, it surprised me at first but I really enjoyed this aspect of the role.
It has given me much greater confidence and helped me see how a large international organisation operates, so it will really help in my future career!
The Company
I loved the colleagues I sat with, this really made my year.
A very well-organised placement, everything was very smooth, I had no problems at all!
A lot of opportunities to go on different training courses I feel that the company invests well in this side of the business.
Company Car
International Travel
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
This could be better, perhaps a graduate scheme would be good.
The Culture
All of the students got on really well which made the year much more enjoyable.
A nice place to live, some good night life and reasonable prices for living
Some good clubs and if you're with the right people, a real laugh.
I could have made more of this but I was so busy with work I didn't need to!
