The Role
Enjoyable internship.
Responsible for daily reporting tasks, contribution felt important.
Support was given when necessary.
Lack of work in first few weeks, workload increased with projects in last 4 weeks of internship.
Daily reporting tasks.
Lunch and learn sessions were useful for personal development. Practical context of Treasury useful for understanding concepts in my degree.
The Company
Quiet but friendly office floor.
Organised well but I wasn't able to start my project until 4 weeks till the end of the internship. Therefore I was unable to complete as much of my tasks as I would've liked.
Firm set up training days very well (Industry Specific). Inter-team lunch and learn sessions were also very useful.
Opportunities exist within the firm post-graduation but there is no formal graduate scheme. As such, the needs of the business dictate opportunities.
The Culture
Approx 10 other interns, always up for socialising.
Central London so high prices to be expected.
Central London so always somewhere good to go.
Option to get involved in Charity events.
