The Role
This company really cares about their workers, and I think this is one of the most important factors why I would choose them. Everyone's really supportive, they want you to enjoy your job.
We became like friends! We were having dinner together, sharing experiences and getting advice from others. Everyone's really nice there!
We were getting some presentations, we had a chance to ask lots of questions. Also we were introduced to some specific sectors (myself - manufacturing engineering) and see what is done there. Schlumberger really wanted us to understand what they're doing and how they're doing it. That's the most important.
It was good : not too busy, but not bored.
Maybe not enough... I could give my point of view, but I never took the decision.
The team task taught me time management and leadership skills. I improved my lab skills, my scientific skills, my english...
The Company
The other interns were really nice. I hope I will remain friend with them
It was quite good and structured
I attended QHSE training. We also attended to a lot of conferences presented by scientists.
Subsidised Canteen
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
They offer a lot of perk. It was amazing !
The Culture
There were many organised social events for the interns. Some were organised personally by the interns and there were also company organised events.
Cambridge was quite expensive.
There were many social events taking place during the week and at weekends. There was something to suit everyone's taste
There were many sports clubs that were available along with organised activities such as trips to sporting events and tourist attractions.
