The Role
It was challenging which is good
Everyone was keen to help
My supervisor was very helpful. He constantly gave me feedback which was great for personal development
Wasn't too busy at times but when I got busy towards the end it wasnt too stressful either
I was given a lot of freedom to steer the project I was assigned so that was quite good.
I attended some trainings which helped in communication. Also exposed me more to multi-disciplinary teams which is now the case with my major project at uni
The Company
quite reserved
It was well organised but still left room for some flexibility in how I was to direct my project brief
There was quite a few training sessions, even for placement students
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Fast track to the assessment centre. But there was still a process to go through in a way.
The Culture
Yes. Also helped by the social club that was nearby
Cost of living was quite high being near London
London was quite close so often went out in London
there were quite a few- sports. There were dinners and lunches. There was also a team activity day, etc.
