The Role
It was excellent - everyone was very welcoming and friendly
Always willing to offer a helping hand, quite friendly and understanding of how you might feel throughout the internship
I had catch up sessions with my managers every week, this is were I was continuously encouraged and supported throughout the internship
The work given was a built up to the end of the month, therefore the first two weeks in the office was busy yet relaxed, and the remaining two got really busy
I was constructing deliverables to clients, which was amazing
Good exposure to clients - provided a unique insight into a client-based role
The Company
I sat with my team on a daily basis and there was a friendly but professional atmosphere
HR did an amazing job, and it was evident how much had gone into the set up of our internships
There were regular training sessions throughout my time at George
Subsidised Canteen
Subsidised/Company Gym
The chance to work there is exciting, with regular opportunities arising according to current employees
The Culture
Many of my fellow interns as well as other colleagues arranged and attended several social events
the cost of living and socializing was kind of expensive
There was always something going on each night
CSR day and many other events were organised by HR
