The Role
The experience was challenging and a busy atmosphere, which was great. Training was, however, limited, and I feel this let down the internship significantly.
Within a few months, I felt trusted with various responsibilities.
Training was on the spot, and it was difficult to secure training sessions with management. Within the first few weeks we learnt a phenomenal amount, but after this learning slowed down as we couldn't find the time to ask questions!
There's no such thing as too busy, provided the time is managed well. Sometimes, it was difficult to tie the ends of different projects together, but overall it was a good level of busy.
Marketing put me in control with my corporate accounts, which was a great experience.
As always with work experience, the transferable skills are applicable both in education and beyond.
The Company
Sometimes, stress was evident, particularly when we were over-booked or understaffed.
Overall, pretty good - however it took six weeks to find out when it started/how long it was going to be!
Opportunities at Enterprise are great, and I feel that within two years Enterprise wants me managing a branch.
Financial Bonus
Secured both a part-time job with the option of extending this into a full-time scheme, and I a job working within my university promoting the brand.
The Culture
I started at the same time as another intern - we're good friends!
I live in Leicester already.
Leicester! What more can I say?!
Again, as I live in Leicester I knew the options available.
