The Role
I was part of a small but lively team. The wider team also were interested and involved in the placement even if their job was different.
There were a few team building lunches and everyone took the time to get to know you.
Weekly meetings with my supervisor and also available at any time during the placement. Regular development meetings also ensured that I was on track with all my tasks.
There was always something to do and some more complex but fun jobs were given to me all the time, some even overlapped.
From day one I had a huge responsibility and the team trusted me in the role. There were not many things that I was not allowed to do!
The placement greatly enhanced my year back at university and hopefully beyond the placement too.
The Company
The office was brand new when I arrived so the open plan environment and the huge 200 inch video screen was fantastic.
Very organised. No issues.
There was a budget on training and development. I could choose the relevant areas and manage to attend a 2 day web design conference.
