  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • I was part of a small but lively team. The wider team also were interested and involved in the placement even if their job was different.

  • There were a few team building lunches and everyone took the time to get to know you.

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • Weekly meetings with my supervisor and also available at any time during the placement. Regular development meetings also ensured that I was on track with all my tasks.

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • There was always something to do and some more complex but fun jobs were given to me all the time, some even overlapped.

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • From day one I had a huge responsibility and the team trusted me in the role. There were not many things that I was not allowed to do!

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • The placement greatly enhanced my year back at university and hopefully beyond the placement too.

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • The office was brand new when I arrived so the open plan environment and the huge 200 inch video screen was fantastic.

  • Very organised. No issues.

  • There was a budget on training and development. I could choose the relevant areas and manage to attend a 2 day web design conference.

  • There was an placement student community set up that arranged some social and networking events and also a group photo.
