About You
I got to travel around the UK and see different Arup offices. I also learnt more about fire engineering.
Mostly had to proof read reports. On one project however I was heavily involved which did gave me great insight on the work carried out. I also carried some responsibility.
I sometimes just had to do research. When writing a letter of recommendation I did get some help.
I learnt more about fire engineering and the daily routine in an office.
The Company
Depended on the day.
The Arup office in Leeds didn't know that I was coming. They therefore tried their best to give me entertaining things to do. I certainly learned a lot about he professional world in terms of meeting with clients, meetings, etc.
Although I wasn't to heavily involved in most of the projects, I had good insight on what was going on
a lot
very valuable
Everything Else
I was in different offices and met a lot of managers and clients with my colleagues.
Played football once a week with Arup staff and also went on several trips.
