The Role
Really interesting and varied placement.
Regular reassurance of work conducted was of value to the team.
I was given enough guidance whilst on the other hand, they gave me enough space and responsibility to get on with work by myself.
The Company
Friendly and welcoming atmosphere for a new starter.
Surprisingly organised, with step by step progression which didn't overload me at the start but still provided challenging work till the end of the placement.
I received lots of training and support technically (i.e. learning to use excel) and with the systems in place there.
Flexi Time

Their graduate schemes and internships/placements are interlinked so you can progress nicely from one to the other.
The Culture
The team were close knit and fairly often would meet outside work for social activities.
Leeds is a cheap city.
There is a very good nightlife scene in Leeds.
There were a few occasions, at least every other week on average.
