The Role
Enjoying my placement so far
Very friendly team and office
Regular one-2-ones, continuous support alongside both my personal development and the placement project
Busy enough but no hassle.
Fair amount of responsibility, treated as equal to the rest of the team. I was given work to do from day 1.
3 months into my placement I took part in 3 workshops and courses, developed a range of skills from attention to details to project management.
The Company
It's good fun!
Brief, but good induction; I was assigned to a mentor within the team to help with any questions/queries. My workload increased gradually as I learned new stuff.
I get to choose the projects that I want to run; my manager encourages me to attend any training courses/workshops that I may be interested in.

Working from home
Good graduate scheme with several rotations over 2 years - have only heard the positives from the current grads.
The Culture
We'd catch up after work once in a while and play football on Mondays - although people don't tend to stick around too often after work as the majority has to commute/drive home.
Not the cheapest!
There are good links to Brighton/London for a night out, but nothing local.
There are opportunties to get involved with EDF charity work
