The Role
I enjoyed my internship very much. The company and the people were terrific to work with. I did not have any problems what so ever with my team or anyone I ineracted with within the bank during the internship. I do understand that the HR department is there to assess our progress, but at times their presence was a little bit too agressive.
Very good people, enjoyed working with my team 100% and also went with colleagues after work. Some people were a little [this section of the comment has been removed by a member of the RateMyPlacement Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions], but I did not have a problem with that personally.
Support by my team, colleagues, work buddy and HR was amazing.
I understand the idea was to be as busy as I wanted to, but at times I wish I was pushed more and the team would expected more from me.
As I said earlier, I wish I had given a bit more responsibility.
Extremely useful internship. I got a LOT of insight to the bank and the industry what I wouldn't have got without being there. TOP quality.
The Company
That really depends on the team, but personally I was pleased with my teammates. Being on the trading floor was VERY exciting.
Organisation was very good. Everything had been planned out to the smallest detail.
Very pleased with the amount of professional/personal training. Presentation skills and communication skills training was very good overall.
Subsidised Canteen

Working from home
Got offered a contract, can't complain with that.
The Culture
Absolutely loved the diversity of tthe colleagues.
It was expensive, but it's London afterall.
Central London - perfect nightlife
I guess this is up to the team, my team did not have much activities outside work except going out for drinks once in a while and there was the JP Morgan running challenge as well.
