The Role
Once people understood what I was doing (and liked my work) my value went up. Before that most people had no idea why I was there.
Not necessarily a bad thing, I like autonomy. Be sure to keep note of important questions and narrow them down when you find time to ask a manager.
Again, autonomy. Gotta love it! Try to take on as many big research projects as you can (even if you won't be completing some of them until the end of your program). The more simple projects were often the most boring.
Speech/ acting training was the most novel (be sure to note who you know acts more like a cat or a dog). Other things like coding on SQL were also good experience.
The Company
Pleasant and open. Unless you're in HR. Holla Marcus
Introductions are key. Try to get them in early as possible.
A solid amount. I think they definitely want you to apply again fro a full-time position and they are not afraid to show it. Then again, it is only 2 months....

I really liked what I did, but Underwriting is not where my interests lie (think more data analysis, research and presentation). Hiscox is a growing company and in Underwriting there are definitely places to go (middle-management possibly within a couple years).
The Culture
Hell Ya.
It's Central London, what do you think?
Some decent bars but who really parties where they work?
