The Role
I loved interning with Dancing Dolls UK, I wish I could have stayed longer!
Paulinah created a fun environment to work in and always gave praise and encouragement.
Paulinah was always supporting and guiding me throughout my internship, anything that I needed help with or I was unsure about and I could ask with the promise of help and guidance. She always corrected us when we did something wrong so that in future it wouldn't happen again.
Always busy, especially working on a new collection. But even on a day to day basis there was so much to do, each day was different. There was never a dull day, there was always something to do in the Dancing Dolls HQ.
I felt like a core part of all the process, even after I have left all the projects I aided throughout my internship is always given a mention to me and tagged on my Facebook and Instagram.
I have learnt so many new skills, transferable skills too! From sewing to over-locking to finishes and studding garments. The most important skill I learnt was pattern cutting, after interning at Dancing Dolls I felt confident in myself and my skills. I also grew confident with the use of Jersey as before I was terrified of the fabric, Dancing Dolls showed me how to utilise and manipulate jersey.
The Company
The radio was always on, we listened to funny songs, we cheered when something went right, had regular breaks and always chatting while working.

The Culture
We were a small fun team and had plenty to talk about and always got along with each other.
There is a Tesco nearby if your hungry, not far from city centre and of course Dancing Dolls has tea and coffee.
I'm not to sure because I commuted but there was many pubs about and it is near city centre.
So many opportunities, While I was there we got to attend a lecture at ASOS marketplace in London. Other opportunities were also upcoming like Leeds Fashion Week and the Clothes Show Live
