  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • good and bad bits, some responsibility and some tedious stuff

    • worked closely with some and felt valued but there are a few i did not work with that were a bit dismissive

    • very well structured placement with targets and goals being continually re assesed

    • up to you how much you take on which is nice but does mean sometimes you feel you are pestering people for work

    • sometimes a lot more than i expected and sometimes dull tedious menial tasks

    • some great training opportunities with industry recognized qualifications

    • very quite and very old.....

    • structured and geared towards getting a lot of exposure to the intern

    • in terms of their budget not much but actually several thousands of pounds on numerous courses!

    • i dont want to work on this site but GE is a good company to work for i think

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?

    • 28 interns on the site so awesome social

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?

    • Southampton, standard city prices some sutdent places and some posh

    • same as above, not the greatest night out in the world but not the worst by along way

    • a few but not much interesting stuff, mainly sporting things, fun runs etc
