The Role
I enjoyed this placement thoroughly as it is an organisation which I am passionate about.
The organisation was such a lovely one to go into. Everyone is really welcoming and helpful on things I was unsure on and my personal manager helped me every step of the way.
My manager helped me every step of the way.
On the days I worked on the internship I feel like I worked hard but not to the point where it became stressful.
Because I was a regional based role and worked at home it was up to me the input I had but due to technical problems my project didn't get properly going until very close to the end.
It was really good for me to get an insight into the working world before I graduate.
The Company
My internship was home-based.
Enough support was provided throughout my time with CRUK and it is obviously scheme which works very well as nothing ever felt unsure.
We had regular reviews and my manager was very invested with how I was developing and how much I was gaining from the experience.
Company Parties/Events
Working from home
I would absolutely love to return to the company.
The Culture
I was home-based so didn't really interact with the London based interns but they definitely socialised within the office.
