The Role
People in the office and the drivers were fantastic they made the job more bearable. Everything else was no where near as good! The location they put me sums it up, was terrible.
Certainly with a few roles, ended up getting the tea and coffee a great deal but was all fun office banter so i didnt mind. Been told i am missed so feel as if i was valued at some point.
More or less non existent from my manager, only 1 review the whole year no feedback or support given at all. Supervisor tried to step in and take charge, had several meetings with her but over the year not nearly enough support or guidance.
It varied really from really busy to hardly very much at all. The run up to chirstmas and easter was especially busy but apart from that fairly average.
Hardly any no projects. Was promised some but never got any. Took charge of one or two little areas but only for a month or two. No direction or programme of work for me at all.
Possible people skills and communication skills but apart from that probably not.
The Company
Great , was the best bit. Lots of banter and laughs.
Terrible. No programme of work, organisation, learning outcomes, support or anything.
They paid for a meal we had , that was it. No training given apart from on the job stuff, promised development and off the job training , never happened.
Company Parties/Events
Above 25 days holiday
No not a chance after my experience with them.
The Culture
There was no other placement students at my site, social project with DHL brought a few other students together for a project but that was it for the whole year.
Cambridgeshire was expensive, rent was too.
Maybe Peterborough or Cambridge, that was it as they were both 30 mins + away.
Very limited. Fun day or fund rasing that was it.
