The Role
It gave me a great insight into the investment banking world. I got to work with some senior managers and partners in a great working environment.
The working environment was really good. My colleagues were very supportive and constantly provided help and guidance.
The management was really helpful. They constantly provided guidance and helped me throughout the internship.
The working hours were very long and taxing. The work load was extreme aswell
I was given some key responsibilities which helped me further gain an insight into the shoes of an everyday investment banker.
The analytic skills I developed helped me to analyse and give close attention to details in some of my modules in my degree. Further the presentation skills I developed helped me give to give presentations at university.
The Company
The atmosphere was very friendly and the colleagues were very helpful.
The placement was very well organised and it was based on rotational basis. This helped me gain an insight into different investment banking divisions.
The company invested heavily in its interns. We were provided with various training exercises helping us understand the IB world better.

The Culture
There were various events where we got a chance to socialize with other interns from different divisions.
Living and working in Canary Wharf was very expensive as it is in the heart of London.
London is known for its nightlife. Hence, the nightlife in areas around canary wharf was very active.
Yes, there were some opportunities to get involved in charity work and fund raising.
