The Role
Good atmosphere and friendly colleagues- given a variety of work to do to keep you interested and to challenge you.
Get given work that is both urgent or for senior people showing that you are trusted by colleagues and they also take your ideas on board.
One to one meetings with manager on a weekly basis to help with feedback and improvements and also have a mentor.
Varies- some days not too busy but some days are really busy edepending on the what time of the month it is.
Given a major project quite early on which was an essential piece of work and are given the responsibility of doing important work for senior members of staff.
Help with some aspects
The Company
Everyone is friendly and welcoming. Almost everyone in the office is approachable and other departments are open to you talking to them to learn more.
Well organised with old interns being used to help teach the new interns and there are lots of talks to help understand more about the company.
Have a mentor to help with development and there are a lot of online courses. Excel skills are developed a lot as well as there being the opportunity to do presentations.
Sports and Social Club
Financial Bonus
Company Parties/Events
Working from home
Healthcare from home
There isn't currently a graduate scheme for people but if you perform well they would be welcoming to you returning in the future.
The Culture
The location isn't necessarily good for social activities but isn't too far from london either but the other placement students here were up for social activities.
Quite expensive and socialising is quite expensive.
Not great but close to london.
There was a social club which did activities every month.
