The Role
It's been great fun!
Small teams so everyone's important, even the newbies
Very friendly and always able to give advice
Unstressed, but never a dull moment
I was able to change the project as much as I wanted, but there was always the security that we could remove any problems I had easily with the git management system.
Coding is always useful but I also learned about doing programming projects in a team.
The Company
Good work/social balance, there's always something fun on if you have the energy
Very well organised, and easy to ask for info both from people and from the internal wiki.
Clearly the company's very good at taking interns and teaching them about the processes involved in making a piece of their software, but I never felt like a number, the small team sizes meant I was taught a lot.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
I'm not looking for a job just now but I had loads of fun and would definitely consider it :D
The Culture
Great atmosphere and everyone's friendly, lots of subsidised pub trips...
Lived at home so not such a big deal
It's London.
Ice skating, movie trips, drum lessons, rock climbing, pub...
