The Role
I was warmly welcomed into the team, given challenging tasks to complete and supported with whatever I decided to try.
I was as busy as anyone else in the team, if I ever felt I had too much work to cope with my manager was understanding and relocated lower priority tasks to be completed at a later date.
The Company
It was a large office of 200+ so there wasn't a specific feel to the office, within each team there was sense of community.
Apart from the occasional HR hiccup there was no problems.
I was encouraged to take part in training courses, qualifications at the local college and to organised my own business trips, all subsidised by the company.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
National Travel
Financial Bonus
Above 25 days holiday
I did my placement pre-university through the Year In Industry scheme so have to reapply to secure a full time job.
The Culture
The company runs an Apprentice Association paid for (£1.30 a month) by the members. The AA is run by the interns, apprentices and graduates and subsidised a variety of events.
Standard prices.
The site in on the edge of Bristol so nights out are in the city centre, just a few minutes away.
The AA organised loads of events.
