The Role
The work involved in the placement was specific to the role. I was giving
Everyone I met on placement were both friendly and helpful, and I was treated like a regular member of staff.
I had a very clear development plan and my line manager helped me achieve my goals. Management were very approachable if I needed help with certain tasks.
Some weeks I was very busy and others I wasn't. The weeks in which I didn't have much work on I had time to work on other projects.
After the initial training period, I quickly picked up full responsibility for certain tasks which were key to my teams output.
I was able to develop my verbal and written communication, time management and team working skills which I had not had not been able to develop in my degree.
The Company
I worked in a very social team and overall enjoyed my time at work.
There were regular meetings and presentations involving all the placement students. I never felt left in the dark about upcoming events.
I had the opportunity to go on both external and internal training courses which helped me with my day to day work. I had my own personal development plan which I was supported in achieving.

Leeds is a very affordable city and there is lots to see and do.
The nightlife in leeds is a good mix of late night bars, restaurants, and big nightclubs. There is always something new to do.
There were social clubs, football teams and gym classes to join.
