The Role
It was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. It has been extremely beneficial in preparing me for work in a large organisation and I have improved and gained many new skills.
I felt like a key member of the team. My suggestions were listened too and appreciated and I was actively encouraged to be proactive and offer my ideas to discussions.
I received regular feedback by both my senior manager and day to day manager. The feedback was always constructive with the aim of improving my skills for work after the placement not just whilst on it.
There is always lots to do, I was never bored. There are opportunities to pick up work outside of the immediate team also. The workload does not make you feel over stressed and if it was getting too much there is always someone to offer help or guidance.
The Company
It was a very professional atmosphere however it was also a positive atmosphere. People are friendly, approachable and happy to chat.
I attended numerous training sessions and they actively encouraged me to make the most of the training that was available. The training available was great, ranging from personal development to professional skills.

The Culture
Unfortunately there are only 2 placement positions so there wasn't a social scene for placement students alone. However, there were regular trips to the local pub / restaurants.
London is expensive, but there is so much to do! It's worth the extra living cost!
Endless bars, restaurants and nightclubs!
