The Role
I absolutely loved it! I was given an absolute autonomy on daily basis but still had weekly meetings with my manager to check my progress. Everyone was always there to help!!!
Everyone I worked with was really great and very welcoming.
I had a desk right next to my manager and could ask her for guidance anytime. We also had scheduled meetings dedicated to my project.
I was usually busy.
I was working on a project on my own so I was running the show!!
I gained invaluable project management skills and everthing that goes with it.
The Company
Everyone is very cheerful and lovely.
At the beginning there was induction that lasted for couple of days which was for all interns and gave me a great insight into Cancer Research UK. I then had induction into all aspects of the job in my department and also some more training throughout my internship.
