The Role
Loved the experience, would recommend to everyone.
At Intel there's a lot of social events and "Blue Sky Days" for colleagues to get together.
I have weekly/bi-weekly meetings with my manager on my development.
Always something to do.
As a CBA I am responsible for my customers and how they perform.
I think the placement will really help with my work ethic going into final year.
The Company
Everyone is cheerful at Intel, very welcoming.
Intel have been doing this for years and have a seamless transition between the old interns and new interns.
There are lots of trainings to take part in, even additional optional ones like an excel master-class which was really helpful.

The location isn't great, there's very little to do in Swindon. However the company is great and if I were to return I would relocate nearer to Bristol and commute.
The Culture
It could be better. Naturally people found their own friendship groups and the big get togethers fell apart. However there was a trip to Amsterdam which was one of the best holidays ever.
There's a broad range in Swindon, anywhere between £225-450/mo. Nights out aren't that expensive but the clubs are rubbish and not worth going to.
Awful. There's 3 places to go in Swindon and they're all run of the mill boring clubs playing pop music with no character. A lot of people travel to Bournemouth and Bristol for weekend nights out.
Opportunities are there but i'm happy with my workload and wouldn't want to take on more.
