The Role
The Company
My team atmosphere was great- we worked really well together! The general, larger office around us was a bit more quiet and I didn't really know anyone else.
I felt like I was employed as I did work that needed doing, when it needed doing. This did mean though that on occasions there was not a lot I could help with.
CRUK offered a really good personal development package and this was facilitated through weekly 1:1 sessions with my manager.
Working from home
The Culture
I was commuting from a distance and didn't really get the chance to be social outside of work with the other interns.
Working as an unpaid intern is hard in London!
I didn't get the chance to go out in the area.
There could have been opportunities if I had pursued them.
