The Role
I need to say that I enjoyed placement quite a lot. Not only because the work I was doing here was very interesting, rewarding and challenging but also because of the environment and people who works at CGT.
The environment at CGT was excellent, I am still impressed how great people were and how well everyone treated each other. Saying that when working here you will feel like a home is not an exaggeration.
My manager was not only a manager, mentor, but also a good friend and co-worker. I was given full support and advise anytime I wanted. To be honest working with my manager was a pure pleasure.
I was fairly busy. I always tried to be proactive trying to get on board as many projects and initiatives as possible. Du
I was given a lot of responsibilities and was exposed to variety of day to day issues which was great as it helped me to improve and learn much more while doing rather than just watch and participate partially.
I developed and improved knowledge and information about the processes which we covered at University during the first and second year and moreover I also gained insight in day to day issues that are impossible to learn and study..
The Company
The atmosphere was excellent, everybody was friendly, very helpful and always ready to help and advice on anything which was not clear.
Work was organized really well. I had a mentor and placement coordinator who were looking after me, making sure that I am comfortable and that I am getting the most of placement.
I had many incentives, such as managerial trainings, we looked at motivations, at how to become good manager.. Moreover I also had trainings which were related to my area of study, we covered purchasing processes, strategies, we looked at six sigma training, etc.

Yes, I would be interested in working for CGT as they are excellent company with great perspectives for development and enhaning further career.
The Culture
Yes, the environment was great! No doubt about it.
The place where I was living was reasonably priced. Stamford seemed to be small but really charming place.
Stamford offered quite a lot, I had many pubs, clubs all around th town along with additional clubs and venues in local cities. There was not way to get borred :)
I took part in different charity found rising; we collected money for children in need, played Men-cup, recruitment fair at Kent University. I also took part in go-carting, paintball. It will not possible to list everything as there was so much going on during the year you would be surprised.
